We are pleased to introduce you to PALO ALTO, a story about four childhood friends reuniting for the first time since leaving for college. This is a movie made for college students by college students, and stands out amongst other college comedies by genuinely capturing teenage culture through the eyes of its young filmmakers. In keeping with the movie’s themes and production story, this fall we will be hitting campuses nationwide with screenings of the film as well as live performances by Todd Carey who’s song “Ain’t Got Love” is the title track of the movie. This entertainment package also comes with the opportunity of having our cast and crew visit your campus. Ben Savage, for example, is very much behind the movie and would be thrilled to host a Q&A.
PALO ALTO premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival where director Brad Leong, at 21, was the youngest feature director in the festival’s history. Inspired by his and writer Tony Vallone’s freshman year Thanksgiving break, the film follows the bittersweet homecoming of four college freshman returning to their small town for Thanksgiving. It stars Aaron Ashmore (“Smallville”), Johnny Lewis (“Alien vs. Predator II”), Justin Mentell (“G-Force”), Autumn Reeser (the “O.C.”), Ben Savage (“Boy Meets World”) and Tom Arnold (“True Lies”).
Acclaimed for his hot-wire live performances, Todd Carey has been hailed as a "talented musician with a lot of energy and an established following" (MTV Online). In the last 2 years Carey has performed over 150 shows in clubs, festivals and college campuses, with stints opening for the aristocratic likes of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Jason Mraz, Marc Broussard, G. Love & Special Sauce, Josh Kelley and more. In addition to having his music in PALO ALTO, Todd's music was recently seen in MTV's The Real World.
